TRUE LOVE

^{When I think about love, I think of God!  There is and never will be anyone who loves us  the way that He does!}

"Let Go"

I was recently reminded of a dream I had many years ago.  In this dream I was laying on my back in a hospital bed holding on to the bed rails. I heard a small still voice coming from my left side which I recognized to be the voice of the Lord instructing me to "let go."  Instead of letting go of the rails when I heard the voice of the Lord I looked to my right side and there stood my mom and two other people that I didn't recognize.  Without saying a word I looked at them as to say "should I let go?" Once I received their nod of consent I let go of the rails and was immediately lifted up out of the hospital bed by the hand of the Lord.  I knew that the words "let go" was key to the interpretation of the dream, so throughout the day I began to inquire of the Lord "what am I suppose to let go of?"  Later that day during my quite time with the Lord I received revelation.

                                            REVELATION

I was seeking the approval of others, how much better for me to seek God's approval?     For a long time I was a "people-pleaser".  I cared greatly about what others thought of me and many times I did or said things  in pursuit of approval. We often look  for people to elevate us, give us our props, pat on the backs, or simply just notice us; and so we go to extreme measures to get their attention or approval.  God clearly showed me through that dream and revelation that I had an unhealthy desire to please others and  that I had to "let go" of seeking their approval.

 

 How do we seek God's approval...by obeying his word.  His voice, revelation, instruction, prophesy, will never be in conflict with His written word...the bible.  Obedience to God lead us to His perfect will for our lives.  I've found that there is no better place to be and no place I'd rather be than in His perfect will.   Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will.  Romans 12:2

The contents of this post are a compilation of my thoughts, revelation and scripture taken from my journal.

What is God saying?  Be obedient to His word, have you not heard?  Obedience is better than sacrifice.  Faithful is what you are Lord; have faith is what you are saying.  Faith to move mountains is what I'm praying.  When you've done all you can do... STAND.  Stand on the word of God & let it resonate in your spirit.  Can't you feel it in your spirit, a place of peace that doesn't give in to fear.  I hear, I hear what you're saying "Be Strong & Courageous!"  Be watchful of the wolves dressed in sheep clothing, you will know them by their fruit...they will say one thing and do another.  Be self controlled & alert your enemy the devil prowls around like a lion looking for someone to devour.  Lord you are good even in the midst of my suffering.  You are my daily bread that keeps me well fed.  I hear you, I hear you loud & clear.  You make all things new, You make all things new...I have  no fear.  All I want is You, all I crave is You.  Yes I hear you...You're doing something new!  Creator of all things there are no limits on what You can do.  I will say of the Lord "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust."  I will let go & let You transition & reposition  me.  Your word is like honey on my lips, Your secrets are my treasures.  I hear You Lord, Your timing is perfect.  I'm wrecked by your presence, You are the essence of who I am.  I choose to be holy, set apart for You my Master...ready to do Your will.  I'm in a dark place, I don't like this place... you say "Call upon My grace it will see you through."  Believe, if you believe you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.  I know I must believe, You are the only One I know to be faithful & true, perfect in all  Your ways...I want to be like You.  On the day when we meet face to face "Well done my good and faithful servant!" is what I hope You'll say. I'm challenged by that thought...I desire to make an eternal difference.  LOVE, love is the key to seeing heaven on earth.  Love on purpose, you say "without love you have nothing."  I love Your revelation, I love the way You communicate with me, it's so personal.  I must act upon the revelation I receive, can't let the enemy snatch my seed.  Lord You are the same yesterday, today and forever.  It's impossible for You to fail.  You promised to  make a road in the wilderness & rivers in the desert...your hand is not short.  Simple faith is all You ask, I hear You say " You can't run from the call."  Your word is life, Your word is stirring in my spirit.  Lord you have my attention!  My mind is renewed & I choose to live on purpose.  Be strong and courageous do not be afraid for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go rings loud in my ear.  I hear it, I hear it, confirmation after confirmation...Your presence is so thick.  Lord You are good and Your mercy endures forever.  A pure heart is what I pray, my heart aches for what is going on in the world today.  Lukewarm, lukewarm, lukewarm (NOT) You've called us to be the light of the world.  What's better to fight for what you believe even though it's wrong or to believe what is right & never fight for it?  (Neither)!  Lord how can we be a solution to the problems we face?  If my people, who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.  LOVE there's that word again.  When we truly begin to understand how God defines Love then we can begin to understand who God is...after all God is love!  God so loved the world that He GAVE His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.  Speaking of life...life & death is in the power of the tongue (literally).   When Jesus spoke people were healed, raised from the dead, delivered & set free, oh yes there is power in the tongue!  Surrender completely to Me, take up your cross & follow Me.  I hear you Lord & I know surrender is something I must do if I really want to walk with You.  I say no to flesh & yes to You Jesus.  Simple but hard.  For what is a man profited if he shall gain the whole world,  and lose his own soul.  When we manipulate others we are seeking our own will, we never  have to manipulate others if we are seeking God's will. Lord your ways are perfect, You are faithful & your plans for my life are good.  As I reflect on my personal experiences with You there is a deep love that wells up inside of me . I'm so thankful that You will never leave me nor forsake me, but that's Your character...that's how you roll.  I keep hearing over & over again; there are only two types of people in the world, the ones who are obedient  to God and the ones who are disobedient.  Be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of you mind, that ye  may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  Change, change, change is on the horizon.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving present your requests to God.  I'm 100% convinced that God's plans for my life are much better than anything I could ask or imagine.  For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the Lord" plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope & a future.  Lord you are my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust.       
Lord you are my....EVERYTHING!

One Of A Kind

You are a masterpiece, one of a kind original created by the Master himself.  Just envision for a moment; God, creator of all things, the maker of heaven and earth declares you and I to be His greatest piece of work.  Ephesians 2:10; For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. So what exactly does it mean to be called God's masterpiece, work of art, workmanship?  To me that says that the One who created us defines us as unique, exceptional, His prize possession, created in His image. So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27.  I don't know about you but I'm moved every time I think about how valuable I am to God and because He created us; it is in Him that we must recognize our identity.

We Should Be Confident In Who God Created Us To Be 


 



God created us all with unique gifts and talents; we come in all colors, shapes and sizes.  It's those distinctive traits that  make us an individual. There is no one in all the earth identical to you or me.  It's time that we celebrate who we are, it's time to celebrate who God created us to be, it's time to celebrate who we are in Christ!  Let the celebration begin, let the celebration begin, declare who you are, rejoice in who you are!  Discard any mind set that says something different, see yourself through the lens of scripture, see yourself as God sees you! You are who He says you are!  You are His favorite, You are the apple of His eye, You are fearfully and wonderfully made,  you are loved with an everlasting love...

     YOU ARE GOD'S MASTERPIECE!





A PROMISE FROM GOD

{When you allow the promise of God to reside in your Spirit...nothing absolutely nothing can rob you of that promise}

Fearfully & Wonderfully Made

A week or so after finding out I was pregnant with my youngest child the Lord spoke to me "You are carrying a seed of greatness like Joshua."  Whoa was that me or the Lord?  Since I've learned to recognize the voice of the Lord I knew it was Him.  I was in awe by those words and kept that promise between me and Him.  Not more than a week later my husband said to me "I believe you are carrying a boy and we are suppose to name him Joshua."  That was confirmation!  I was excited about my baby and all that God had for him, however what I didn't know is that my faith would be tested beyond anything I could imagine.



1 Pound Of Courage

 On February 14th, 2007 at 23 weeks pregnant my water broke and I was rushed to the hospital.  Four days later on February 18th Joshua Lorenzo Jordan A.K.A. "strong & courageous baby" was born 1 lb. 4ozs., but not without a fight.  Several times prior to the birth of Joshua & even on the day that Joshua was born it was suggested by doctors that I abort him.  We were told that Joshua only had a 4% chance of  being born alive and that I could run into huge complications including losing my own life.  The doctors had no hope for us but we knew that we had only one choice and that choice was to trust God and His promise. As I laid on that operating table in a cross formation,  for a moment I identified with Christ.  He gave His life so that we all could have eternal life and I was willing to sacrifice my life so that my son could live.  Time and time again Joshua beat the odds and we experienced many miracles.  On March 26, 2007 Joshua developed an infection called necrotizing enterocolitis which ultimately took his life.
                        WHY?

We Love You Joshua!

Many people asked me "why did God take Joshua?" or "are you mad at God?" and my answer is... although I don't fully understand "why" Joshua lived for only 95 days I do know that God is perfect and He make absolutely no mistakes. Psalm 139:16 says "Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be"  God's promise was fulfilled, Joshua's days on earth were ordained and his purpose completed.  Was that journey a test of my faith, a test to see if I would still proclaim the name JESUS the name above all names?  I don't know why I went through what  I went through but one thing is certain, God's word is true " I will never leave you nor forsake you."  In my darkest hour God was there to comfort and guide me  and not only do I boldly proclaim the name JESUS I courageously take on the calling to carry out the legacy of Joshua Lorenzo Jordan; I choose to be the Voice Of Joshua!
